Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services in Ohio is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in facilities and homes. Paid training is provided, and no prior experience is required. A comprehensive benefits package is offered for full-time staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, health and safety, meal preparation and personal care, while promoting independence and choice for individuals we serve.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal vehicle to transport individuals is required.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of life.
• Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.

Direct Support Professional (DSP)

$18.25-$19.25 per hour

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required.
