Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training is provided in its entirety, so no experience is required.

We offer paid training in CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration, full-time benefits (medical, vision, dental, 401k), PTO, holiday pay, mileage reimbursement, annual raises, and flexible schedules. Candidates aged 18+ with a valid Ohio driver’s license and vehicle are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals served; valid OH driver’s license and car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home settings.
• Supervise, teach and assist individuals in daily living activities.
• Complete household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
• Provide personal care assistance as needed.

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.
