Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Colchester, VT. The role supports individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health needs in home or community settings, following each resident’s Plan of Care.

The position is contract- Full Time with a 40-hour week at $27 per hour. Minimum requirements include a HS diploma or equivalent, driver’s license, vehicle ownership, and safety/health clearances per contract.

Job Type: Contract - Full Time

Pay: $27 / Hour

Hours: 40.00

Location: Colchester, VT

The Direct Support Personnel III assists individuals withintellectual disabilities or mental health challenges with growth anddevelopment of interpersonal skills and activities of daily living in the home,community or residential setting. The Direct Support Personnel III worksdirectly with the resident and provides supports for activities of daily livingand adaptive skills. The Direct Support Personnel III should follow theguidance of the resident/ patients Individual Service Plan.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or its equivalent

• Valid driver’s license

• Valid and current auto insurance and vehicle registration

• Must be able to pass a motor vehicle check

• Must own a vehicle in proper working order throughout theterm of employment that includes regular vehicle maintenance, timely repairs,and adherence to all safety standards

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health Certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks
