Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Macon, GA. The role involves assisting individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges with daily living activities in home, community or residential settings, following each resident's Individual Service Plan.

Requires high school diploma, ability to prioritize tasks, and compliance with professional standards; CPR and TB health requirements may apply.

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Direct Support Personnel I assists individuals withintellectual disabilities or mental health challenges with growth anddevelopment of interpersonal skills and activities of daily living in the home,community or residential setting. The Direct Support Personnel I works directlywith the resident and provides supports for activities of daily living andadaptive skills. The Direct Support Personnel I should follow the guidance ofthe resident/ patients Individual Service Plan.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or its equivalent

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health Certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
