Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help clients achieve independence and participate fully in their communities. You will assist with daily living, follow ISPs, and provide compassionate support.

If you are reliable, 18+, with a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid training, this flexible role offers full-time, part-time or per diem options and a path for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
• CPR and First Aid training completed or to be completed via approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, mobility).
• Implement and follow Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).
• Provide companionship and emotional support; encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medications and monitor health per guidelines.
• Support transportation to appointments and community outings.
• Maintain care documentation and follow behavioral support plans.
