Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. is hosting an interview session in Bucyrus, OH for Direct Support Professionals. Training is provided; no previous experience is required. The role involves direct care for individuals with developmental disabilities, flexible schedules, and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Applicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Ohio driver’s license with insurance, and a suitable driving record. Interviews take place at our Mansfield office location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest’s criteria (no OVI/DUI, no reckless operations, and limited speeding violations).
• Able to push, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform climbing/balancing movements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Supervise, teach and assist individuals in daily living activities.
• Handle household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
• Provide personal care assistance.

At ViaQuest, our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required.

Requirements for this position include:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's Ohio license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
  • No OVI/DUI's, reckless operations, or speeding violations more than 20 MPH over posted limit
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years or more than 5 points
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
