Job summary

Adelante is seeking compassionate caregivers in Albuquerque, NM to join our team and help empower adults with disabilities to live full, meaningful lives.

Paid training provided; no prior experience required. You will assist with daily activities, meals, mobility, medication support after training, and accompany individuals on outings, while encouraging independence and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• A compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
• Willingness to complete paid training and certifications.
• Reliable transportation, a NM driver’s license, and insurable driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and support 70-100 lbs occasionally.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.

• Assisting with personal care routines like meals, hygiene, and mobility
• Preparing meals, tidying up, and keeping things running smoothly
• Helping with medication and healthcare routines (after training)
• Taking individuals on outings, walks, and activities they love
