Brandi's Hope Community Services in Tupelo, MS is seeking a Direct Support Professional for daytime shifts. You will provide daily support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping with job tasks, self-care, recreation, and community involvement.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and background checks. Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly valued in a team-focused environment.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license required to transport clients.
• Current CPR training required; background checks and drug screening will be conducted.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting independence.
• Assist with job supports, self-care, recreational activities and community inclusion.
• May transport clients to appointments and accompany them to assignments as needed.
• Support the client as a job advocate and assist with feeding and hygiene when required.

Conocimientos

CPR certification

Driver's license

Experience with IDD

Care/communication skills

Educación
