Job summary

Brandi's Hope Community Services in Mississippi is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide daily support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The role requires patience, kindness, and teamwork, with duties including job supports, self-care, recreational activities, and community inclusion.

Starting pay is $10.00 per hour with a 45-hour weekly schedule; overtime is $15.00, rising to $17.25 after orientation. Shifts: Wednesday 1pm–7pm and Thursday–Saturday 8am–8pm.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of verifiable work experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license to transport clients as needed.
• Must have current CPR training.
• Background check and drug screening required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to individuals with varying levels of development/intellectual disabilities.
• Help with job supports, self-care, recreational activities and community inclusion.
• May transport to appointments and assist with feeding and hygiene as needed.
• Duties to be discussed with employer.
