Job summary

Pride Inc. is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our Gracefully Aging & Life Skills Day Program in North Dakota. This role supports people with disabilities, promoting independence, safety, and engagement in daily activities.

The DSP role involves assisting with transportation, planning activities, and documenting progress, with a focus on dignity and joy in participant lives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in human services preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and assist with transfers.
• Valid ND driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals as they grow in independence, confidence, and daily living skills.
• Foster well-being and autonomy by empowering individuals to make choices and take charge of their own lives.
• Build meaningful relationships through warm, positive interaction and role modeling.
• Plan engaging community activities and help coordinate transportation.
• Support people in reaching their goals through structured programming, observation, and teaching.
• Promote health and safety while assisting with medication protocols and therapeutic interventions.
• Keep clear records and collaborate in team meetings.

What You’ll Do
