Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges in home, community or residential settings. This per diem role in Riverside, CA offers flexible hours and a pathway to develop daily living and social skills.

You will work under guidance of the Individual Service Plan, assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence as part of a compassionate care team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or its equivalent
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks

Responsabilités

• Assist individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges with daily living and interpersonal skills.
• Provide supports for activities of daily living and adaptive skills in home/community settings.
• Follow resident/patient Individual Service Plan as directed by care team.
