Whole Life seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals in North Stonington, CT to assist adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The role focuses on ADLs, daily living support, and promoting independence with personalized care plans.

Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, and facilitating community activities while ensuring safety, dignity, and well-being. A shift pattern includes mornings with part-time hours and orientation will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and essential documents
• Ability to pass background and health checks
• Physically able to perform duties with lifting up to 100 lbs
• Clear English communication (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal prep
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, support medical appointments
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment through light housekeeping and laundry
• Engage clients in social activities and community outings to promote independence
• Use mobility equipment properly and document daily activities and incidents accurately
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant privacy and implement individualized care plans
