Bellwood Developmental Center in Bellwood, IL is seeking experienced, creative & dependable Part Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for weekends to join our dynamic, caring and progressive community.

WEEKENDS ONLY - Saturday and Sunday. The DSP provides resident care and support in activities of daily living, ensuring health, welfare and safety in a DD setting. Training will be provided; DSP certification is not required to be hired.

Qualifications

• Provide assistance with serving meals and hydration
• Assist with personal hygiene and mobility
• Maintain privacy and HIPAA compliance
• Adhere to policies and safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with serving meals and feeding; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Provide assistance in personal hygiene by assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
• Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA guidelines and related laws.
• Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
