Job summary

Alay Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Caregivers to provide direct care, behavioral support, and community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities throughout New Jersey. The role involves direct care, community integration, behavior support, medication administration, and assisting individuals with ADLs.

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with CPR/First Aid certification and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or higher required.
• CPR & First Aid Certification required (from an approved provider).
• Ability to pass background checks and DDD clearances is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be needed for community activities.
• Experience in behavioral health, caregiving, or direct support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Community integration and companionship with individuals in NJ.
• Behavioral support and mentorship for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Medication administration as directed.
• Provide transportation to community activities.
