Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with developmentally disabled population preferred.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required.
• AMAP certification during probation and maintenance.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• SCIPR Competencies certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with personal care, travel, social and life skills to maximize community functioning.
• Document records in accordance with program standards.
• Provide safe, clean environment and assist in routines and activities.
• Assist individuals in learning home living skills (household chores).
• Perform advocate responsibilities and ensure safety in daily activities.
