Job summary

NCSS is seeking compassionate direct support professionals to assist adults with Intellectual Disabilities or Autism in community and residential settings. You will work as part of a team to implement skill-building activities, provide positive behavioral support, and maintain therapeutic relationships while documenting progress on individual goals.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Provide support to adults with Intellectual Disabilities or Autism as part of a care team.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work in community and residential settings.

Responsibilities

• Participate with the team to initiate activities that build skills per Individual Support Agreement.
• Provide positive behavioral support and supervision with calm judgment.
• Develop positive therapeutic relationships and assist with communication needs.
• Document progress on goals and support individuals with daily activities.
