Job summary

Hope Family Partners in Lewiston/Auburn, Maine is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide person-centered support under MaineCare HCBS.

As a DSP you will assist with ADLs, support community integration, track progress on individual goals, and ensure health and safety. We offer paid training, career growth paths from DSP to House Manager, and a $250 sign-on bonus after 90 days. Shift flexibility and competitive pay between $16.25 and $19.00 per hour apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass Maine background checks.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as required.
• Ability to complete required Maine HCBS trainings within designated timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) (hygiene, meals, mobility).
• Support community integration and social engagement.
• Implement and track progress on individual goals.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of individuals served.
• Complete accurate documentation and communication (Paylocity, logs, reports).
• Work collaboratively with team members, families, and care coordinators.
