Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with developmental disabilities in Brentwood, CA. The role emphasizes health, safety and well‑being, acting as an advocate to improve quality of life for clients.

Responsibilities include daily routines per plan, assisting with personal care, meals, and transportation when needed. Requires DSP certification within 12 months, background check, and a California driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 (Must obtain within first 12 months of Hire)
• First Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a California Driver’s License
• Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including background check

• Assist clients with bathroom needs.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary)

Hourly Rate: $17.50- $19.00/hr. Depending on Certifications
Shifts Needed: AM & PM

Here's What You'll Do:

TheDirect Support Professional supports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being. Our Direct Support Professionals proudly serve as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients.

Essential Functions:
