Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid drivers license with at least 1 year driving experience.
• Available to attend the 2.5 week hourly-paid training program during 8am-5pm.
• Minimum 1 year experience with individuals with co-occurring disorders.
• Experience with developmental disabilities.
• Experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care and PBIS.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Direct Support Professional BHA to join our SPIN Team.. As a Direct Support Professional BHA, you will be responsible for providing support to individuals with behavioral health needs in a compassionate and professional manner. Your main goal will be to assist individuals in achieving their personal goals and improving their quality of life. You will work closely with a team of professionals to ensure that the highest level of care is provided to the people we support. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to excellence and a passion for helping others.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Driver's license with at least one year of driving experience

Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in providing the highest level of care to people we support. Additionally, your experience working in a behavioral health arrangement and with individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring disorders will be invaluable in this role.
