Job summary

SPIN in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Teacher Assistant for our Children Services Department. This full-time role supports early childhood programs, engages children in developmentally appropriate activities, and helps maintain a safe, clean classroom.

The position emphasizes teamwork with the Lead Teacher and communication with families, while delivering daily activities and supporting a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities.

• Communicate with the Lead Teacher regarding all aspects of the children’s care as well as classroom management
• Maintain a professional self-image and project the values of the organization at all times

The tools you need:

• Child Development Associate or Early Childhood Education credits a plus but not necessary
• Experience working with young children.
• Clear, pleasant and courteous communicator, both written and oral
• Ability to work independently as well as be an effective multi-disciplinary team member
