Job summary

Albertina Kerr is seeking caring staff to support adults with disabilities in group home settings, helping them live independently and safely.

You will provide personal care, assist with medications, assist with cooking and cleaning, and accompany clients on home visits and outings. This role emphasizes safety, respect, and positive engagement with clients and families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to learn basic cooking and cleaning tasks.
• Weekend availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medications as needed.
• Provide personal care and support for adults.
• Help with daily activities like dressing and hygiene.
• Cook simple meals and follow safety guidelines.
• Support individuals on community or group home visits and trips.
• Communicate with family, medical professionals, and staff.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and document health observations.

Each day, you'll support adults in being successful in what they want to do. Common tasks involve help with medications, cooking, dressing, personal hygiene and cleaning.
