Job summary

The Arc of Washington County is seeking dedicated individuals to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Washington County, MD. The role focuses on person-centered care, daily living assistance, medication support as trained, healthy meal prep, and community activities.

You will work in a compassionate, inclusive environment with training provided; a valid driver’s license and prior I/DD experience are important, as is the ability to attend a comprehensive new hire

Qualifications

• 18+ years or older requirement.
• Valid driver’s license with a minimum of two years driving experience in the US (not a learner’s permit).
• Previous I/DD experience and behavioral management experience within I/DD communities or similar settings.
• Ability to pass with a 70% score on a basic Math & Reading Comprehension Testing (CMT Entry).
• Ability to pass background check, pre-employment health screenings (drug screen, physical & ergonomic assessments).
• Can fully attend three weeks + three days of New Hire Training (Mon-Fri 8:30AM-5PM).
• Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
