Charles Lea Center in Spartanburg, SC is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with disabilities in daily living and community activities. Overnight shifts are required, with schedules: weekdays 11:00 PM–9:00 AM and alternating weekends 8:00 PM/9:00 PM–8:00 AM/9:00 AM.

The role emphasizes promoting independence, documentation in Therap, and compassionate, professional teamwork. Competitive pay and paid training with a sign-on bonus are offered.

Formación

• Minimum age 18 and high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred (DSP, CNA, PCA, RBT, Med Tech, Caregiver).
• Valid driver’s license and Social Security number.
• Ability to pass required background and reference checks.

Overnight Shift Availability Required

• Monday–Friday: 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM
• Every Other Weekend (Saturday & Sunday): 8:00 PM/9:00 PM – 8:00 AM/9:00 AM
• Flexibility to work overnight and weekend hours is essential.

About The Role

As a DSP, you’ll work in a residential setting supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. Your responsibilities may include:

• Assist with daily living skills, grooming, meals, personal care, and medication administration.

What You’ll Need

Work Location Flexibility

While this position is assigned to our Spartanburg location, All Direct Support Professionals may be required to work at other Charles Lea Center sites as needed based on staffing and operational needs.

Physical Requirements

This role involves regular standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and hands-on support. Reasonable accommodations are available.
