Job summary

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional for the 3rd shift to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a caring, home‑like setting at Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville, IN.

You will provide hands‑on care, build authentic relationships, support clients with goals and community activities, and have opportunities to grow into leadership within a supportive, team‑oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Direct care experience preferred.
• Strong organized, communication, reliable, and team-oriented skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care including personal hygiene and hands-on support.
• Develop authentic relationships with clients and foster a family-like environment.
• Monitor and support client goals to promote independence.
• Participate in clients' activities and community outings.
• Grow into leadership abilities and contribute to a stable, caring setting.
