Job summary

Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville, IN seeks a Direct Support Professional for 3rd shift to provide compassionate, client-centered care to individuals with IDD. You will build authentic relationships, support daily living activities, and participate in community outings, promoting independence and a family-like environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, direct care experience preferred, and possess strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Easterseals Reading Test acceptable).
• Direct care experience preferred.
• Organized, good communication, reliable and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care including assistance with personal hygiene and hands-on tasks.
• Develop authentic relationships and foster a family-like environment.
• Support client goals and promote independence through activities and outings.
• Monitor progress and participate in community activities with clients.
