Job summary

Lakeshore Community Services, Inc. seeks Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with daily living in community residential homes. You will provide direct care, assist with self-care and safety skills, and help individuals participate in community activities.

Requirements include being 18+, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. Background checks are required; EOE. Full-time positions with benefits and a $2700 sign-on bonus potential.

Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Scope:

Direct Support Professional staff function as members of teams that are responsible for the direct care and instruction of individuals living in community residential homes in accordance with state, federal and Agency guidelines. Direct Support Professional staff will contribute to the creation of a safe, healthy emotional and physical environment for individuals.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting and/or instructing individuals in activities of daily living, self-care, personal hygiene, medication administration and safety skills in their home. Additionally, will assist individuals in attending and participating in community activities.
