Job summary

Pauline and Thomas Healthcare (PTHC) is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to assist individuals with disabilities to live independently and enjoy quality of life.

Responsibilities include daily living support for two individuals, medication administration, and PCSP implementation; caregivers will accompany to appointments and help build community ties. Shift is 3rd with 11pm–7am hours.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.

Responsibilities

• Support two individuals with daily living and independence skills.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, feeding, and personal care as needed.
• Implement Person Centered Support Plans (PCSP).
• Administer medications and complete documentation.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments.

P&T is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to support and serve our individuals in leading them to be independent and have an amazing quality of life.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $13.75hr - $15.50hr

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Schedule:

• 3rd shift: 11pm - 7am (Monday - Friday)

Direct Support Professional Responsibilities:

• Responsible for only (2) two individuals
• Assist individuals with disabilities with their daily living and independence skills/personal care (may include grooming, bathing, feeding).
• Implement Person Centered Support Plans (PCSP)
• Administer medication(s) and complete appropriate documentation.
• Accompany person supported to medical appointments.
• Foster a meaningful relationship between the individuals and their community.

Direct Support Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma/GED
• I9 Identification (Social Security Card, Passport, etc.)
• Required to walk or stand regularly
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to crawl, kneel, climb, stop and squat
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
