Pauline and Thomas Healthcare seeks a Direct Support Professional in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to support individuals with disabilities and promote independence and quality of life.

The role requires caring for two individuals, assisting with daily living tasks, implementing PCSP, administering medications, and accompanying individuals to appointments. Training and a meaningful community connection are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for only (2) two individuals.
• Assist individuals with disabilities with daily living and independence skills/personal care (may include grooming, bathing, feeding).
• Implement Person Centered Support Plans (PCSP).
• Administer medication(s) and complete appropriate documentation.
• Accompany person supported to medical appointments.
• Foster a meaningful relationship between the individuals and their community.

P&T is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to support and serve our individuals in leading them to be independent and have an amazing quality of life.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $13.75hr - $15.50hr

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Schedule:

• 2nd shift: 3pm - 11pm (Monday - Friday)

Direct Support Professional Responsibilities:

• Responsible for only (2) two individuals
• Assist individuals with disabilities with their daily living and independence skills/personal care (may include grooming, bathing, feeding).
• ImplementPerson Centered Support Plans (PCSP)
• Administer medication(s) and complete appropriate documentation.
• Accompany person supported to medical appointments.

Direct Support Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma/GED
• I9 Identification (Social Security Card, Passport, etc.)
• Required to walk or stand regularly
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to crawl, kneel, climb, stop and squat
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
