Job summary

Pauline and Thomas Healthcare in Murfreesboro, Tennessee seeks Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with disabilities and help them live independently. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $17.25 per hour, with a 1st shift schedule from 7am to 3pm.

The DSP will support two individuals, assist with daily living and personal care, administer medications, accompany to medical appointments, and document care plans.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License.
• I9 Identification (Social Security Card, Passport, etc.).
• Must be able to walk/stand regularly and lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist two individuals with daily living and independence skills.
• Administer medications and complete documentation.

Pauline and Thomas Healthcare (P&T) is a non-profit organization serving individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. P&T is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to support and serve our individuals in leading them to be independent and have an amazing quality of life.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $16.00hr - $17.25hr

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Schedule:

• 1st shift: 7am - 3pm (working days vary)

Direct Support Professional Responsibilities:

• Responsible for only (2) two individuals
• Assist individuals with disabilities with their daily living and independence skills/personal care (may include grooming, bathing, feeding).
• ImplementPerson Centered Support Plans (PCSP)
• Administer medication(s) and complete appropriate documentation.
• Accompany person supported to medical appointments.
• Foster a meaningful relationship between the individuals and their community.

Direct Support Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma/GED
• I9 Identification (Social Security Card, Passport, etc.)
• Required to walk or stand regularly
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to crawl, kneel, climb, stop and squat
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
