Job summary

Pauline and Thomas Healthcare in Murfreesboro, TN, seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support individuals with disabilities, helping them live independently and achieve quality of life. The DSP role focuses on daily living support, personal care, and transportation to appointments, with a dedicated two-person capacity for each individual served.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• I-9 identification (Social Security Card, Passport, etc.).
• Ability to walk or stand regularly.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to crawl, kneel, climb, squat.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with disabilities with daily living and independence skills.
• Implement Person Centered Support Plans (PCSP).
• Administer medications and complete documentation.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments.

Pauline and Thomas Healthcare (P&T) is a non-profit organization serving individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. P&T is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to support and serve our individuals in leading them to be independent and have an amazing quality of life.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $16.00hr - $17.25hr

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Schedule:

• 1st shift: 7am - 3pm (working days vary)

Direct Support Professional Responsibilities:

• Responsible for only (2) two individuals
• Assist individuals with disabilities with their daily living and independence skills/personal care (may include grooming, bathing, feeding).
• ImplementPerson Centered Support Plans (PCSP)
• Administer medication(s) and complete appropriate documentation.
• Accompany person supported to medical appointments.
• Foster a meaningful relationship between the individuals and their community.

Direct Support Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma/GED
