RHDD in southeastern Ohio is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community. You may teach tasks, support daily living activities, and provide transportation to appointments and outings. The role involves personal care, documentation, and reporting health concerns to a supervisor. RHDD offers paid training, holiday pay, insurance, a 403B plan after one year, and internal advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver’s License with fewer than six points.
• Reliable transportation with proof of state minimum auto insurance.

Responsabilités

• Provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community.
• Teach individuals how to complete tasks.
• Assist with daily living activities including housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, and finances.
• Assist with personal hygiene including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, and positioning.
• Provide transportation to appointments, outings, and activities.
• Document and administer medication and health-related tasks.
• Report suspected medical issues or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Build trust and supportive relationships with individuals and their families.
