Job summary

Life Works is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Longview, WA for full-time work. DSPs help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities participate in daily living activities at home and in the community.

Responsibilities include supporting activities, ensuring safety, and documenting progress. Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and assist with transfers.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals to participate in activities at home and in the community.
• Support daily living tasks and ensure safety during activities.
• Document observations and communicate needs to the team.
• Follow schedules including weekends and holidays.
