Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a part-time DSP to provide home and community-based care in Fuquay-Varina, NC. The role includes after-school hours and weekend shifts with regular local travel, offering hands-on support and documentation in our electronic health system.

You will assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, personal care, and scheduling; training is provided, and transportation is required. Competitive part-time options with flexibility are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide home and community-based care in the client’s living environment.
• Assist with daily tasks: housekeeping, meal prep, cooking, and cleaning; personal care as needed.
• Help transport client to appointments and run errands.
• Plan and organize client schedule with team input.
• Document daily care and activities in the electronic health record.

Compensation: $18.00/hour.

Your Role in Our Mission

• You will provide care in the home of the individual and the community they live in
• Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning; personal care such as bathing and dressing; and employment support
• You may transport the client to appointments and run errands
• Help plan and organize their schedule
• Daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system of record
