Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Clayton, NC is seeking an entry-level caregiver for after-school and weekend shifts. You will provide care in the home and community, assist with daily tasks, transport the client to appointments, and document activities in the EHR.

This role offers flexible scheduling, paid training (CPR/first aid, safety, and more), and opportunities for growth within a trusted nonprofit recognized for serving families with dignity and empathy.

Qualifications

• Experience: entry-level, on-the-job training is provided.
• Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge: basic housekeeping, basic nutrition, and safety protocols.
• Skills: Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability are a must.
• Technology: proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy to learn.
• Transportation: DSPs must have reliable transportation and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Location: Clayton, NC, with regular local community travel
Compensation: $18.00/hour
