Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in New Jersey. You will support individuals with developmental disabilities, following individualized plans to foster independence and daily living skills.

No experience required—paid training provided. Earn $18.13/hour, with $20.13/hour enhanced pay option, plus generous benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• 1 year experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Dual Diagnosis experience is preferred.
• NADD DSP Certification training within first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Directly support individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Follow the Individual Support Plan to promote independence.
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, housekeeping and laundry.
• Encourage social and communication skills through park and community activities.
