Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our New Jersey program. No experience is required—we provide PAID training. Pay rate is $18.13/hr or $20.13/hr with Enhanced Pay.

You will assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, housekeeping and laundry, while promoting independence and social/communication skills across community settings.

Qualifications

• Caregiving/Direct care experience not required, but 1 year with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Paid training provided for all new DSPs.
• Must be 21 years or older and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, housekeeping and laundry.
• Support individuals in developing independence and social/communication skills.
• Engage with individuals in varied settings to create meaningful daily routines.
