Job summary

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in homes and communities in Oak Grove, MO. Starting pay is $17 an hour, with weekly direct deposit and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have 1 year DSP experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass background/drug screenings.
• CPR and First Aid training required before first shift.
• Level 1 Med Aide Certification preferred.
• Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Help with meal preparation and cleanup.
• Support light housekeeping and laundry.
• Offer companionship and encouragement.
• Accompany individuals to appointments, errands, or community activities.

Your Day Might Include:

What You’ll Need:

• At least 18 years of age
