Job summary

Easter Seals Tennessee Inc is looking for compassionate Direct Support Professionals to help people with disabilities learn, work and play in their communities. Based in our person supported home, DSPs provide daily caregiving tasks, meal prep, personal hygiene, and medication administration to improve quality of life.

We offer a starting hourly rate of $15, tenure pay scale, annual bonus, shift premium on weekends, health and long-term disability insurance, and retirement and PTO benefits,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community.
• Support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff.
