Job summary

Easter Seals of Tennessee is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist individuals with disabilities in their daily lives at their homes and in the community in Linden, Tennessee. You will help with meals, personal care, and medication administration while promoting independence and participation.

Based in our person-supported homes, DSPs work with clinical staff to implement therapeutic and behavioral plans, and may accompany individuals in community activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
• Support individuals in the community and participate in therapeutic and behavioral plans as directed.

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are the exemplary reflection of the wonderful mission-driven work we do here every day. At the end of your workday, you know you have made a difference in someone’s life. Based in our person supported home, DSPs provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration. DSPs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community. In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.
