Job summary

Devereux in the West Mifflin area of Pittsburgh is hiring a Direct Support Professional. The role supports individuals with disabilities, with a collaborative, mission-driven team.

Pay ranges from $18.25 to $20.96 per hour, and a rotating schedule is provided. Prospective staff benefit from a multi-disciplinary team, tuition assistance, health/vision/dental coverage (eligibility after 30 hours/week), a 403(b) plan, paid training, and student loan assistance.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with 3 years clean driving record.
• Pass PA state criminal history, child abuse record, and FBI clearance.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening, one-step TB and physical.
• Experience with developmentally disabled or as a care provider (ADL required).
• Empathetic, patient with behaviors, able to apply learned techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds.
