Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Pennsylvania is looking for a Direct Support Professional-Casual Pool. Title: Direct Support Professional- Casual Pool
Rate: $18/hour
Schedule: C Casual employees are to be available to work a minimum of 25 hours per month (either 8 hour or 12.5-hour shifts)
Location: Greater Pittsburgh Area
This entry‑level role is based in residential and group home settings. The primary responsibility is to follow all health and safety protocols outlined in each individual’s Individual Service Plan (ISP) while adhering to department policies and state regulations. The role requires consistent communication and follow‑up with team members, including families, medical professionals, support coordinators, behavior consultants, and other staff.
This role requires regular walking and standing throughout the day, occasional sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling, running, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Frequent verbal and written communication is required. Candidates must be free of dependency and abuse of illegal or illicit drugs, alcohol, inhalants, or controlled substances. CPR, First Aid, and behavior management intervention knowledge and physical ability are required.
