Job summary

Phoenix Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will support daily living activities, help clients reach goals, and enable meaningful experiences in a compassionate team environment.

The position offers a stable schedule, opportunities for growth, weekly direct deposit at $17 per hour, and benefits through multiple medical plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 1 year related Direct Support experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass background and drug screenings.
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid before first shift.
• Level 1 med aide certification preferred.
• Availability for at least one weekend per month.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene.
• Helping with meal preparation and cleanup.
• Supporting light housekeeping and laundry.
• Offering companionship and encouragement.
• Accompanying individuals to appointments, errands, or community activities.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 10 am to 5 pm
