Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help clients achieve independence and meaningful community involvement. You will assist with daily living activities, implement ISPs, and provide emotional support.

The role offers flexible hours with full-time, part-time, and per diem options. A valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid, and prior experience with developmental disabilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid training completed through approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (personal hygiene, meals, mobility).
• Implement ISP plans aligned with clients’ goals.
• Provide companionship and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor health per guidelines.
• Support transportation to appointments and community activities.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral plans.
