Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower clients to live independently and participate in their communities. You will support daily living, follow ISPs, provide companionship, and monitor well-being.

This role offers flexible hours with full-time, part-time, or per diem options, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage, mileage reimbursement, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years of age required.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities strongly preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications to be completed through approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
• Implement and adhere to Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) aligning with clients’ goals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor client health as per guidelines.
• Support clients with transportation to various appointments and community outings.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans as required.
