Resources for Human Development (RHD) is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Nazareth, PA. This full-time role offers $18.00 per hour with DailyPay available and paid training.

No experience required; we provide training and support to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independent, connected lives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; proof of education will be requested.
• Valid driver's license required; background screenings including FBI clearance when applicable.
• Ability to pass all required screenings and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support per each individual's ISP.
• Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and daily living tasks.
• Transport to appointments and community activities as needed.
• Assist with accessing community resources and supports.
• Administer or assist with medications as required.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure quality services.
• Promote safe, healthy, and respectful behavior.

What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will:

• Provide supervision and support in accordance with each individual's Person-Centered Individual Support Plan (ISP)
• Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and desired outcomes
• Support activities of daily living, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household tasks
• Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community events as needed
• Assist individuals in accessing community resources and supports
• Administer or assist with medications as required
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with program and clinical staff to ensure quality services
• Promote healthy, safe, and socially appropriate behaviors
• Perform other related duties as assigned
