Job summary

Sevita’s Mentor Community Services in Missouri is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Moberly, MO. This role offers daily pay through On-Demand Pay and opportunities to mentor and support individuals with disabilities in community settings.

Starting pay is $18.65/hour with benefits, PTO, and growth opportunities. You’ll provide essential daily living assistance, meals, medication administration, and inclusive community participation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 5 years caregiving experience can substitute for education.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Successful clearance of background checks.
• A reliable, responsible attitude.
• A compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do.

Responsibilities

• Mentor individuals to reach personal goals like budgeting, nutrition, and fitness.
• Provide companionship to support community inclusion through events and activities.
• Assist with daily living tasks, including meal prep, medication administration, and personal care.
• Build deep, meaningful relationships to make a lasting difference.
