Job summary

Sevita’s REM Community Services recruits caring people to support individuals with developmental disabilities in community settings. Pay is $18.33 per hour, with evening shifts and a schedule that includes Monday/Tuesday afternoons, Fridays, and alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and reliability are valued for caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants reach developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Support participants to participate in the community and enjoy activities of their choice.
