PAY RATE: $24 PER HOUR

Position Overview

We are actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team! This opportunity is perfect for compassionate, self-motivated, and energetic individuals who are eager to support individuals in their journey toward independence. This job requires medication administration- We provide this training although it is UNPAID.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to an individualwith intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Guidance with daily activities i.e. light housekeeping, grooming, setting up for arts& Crafts activities, exploring other events and fun things to do in the community therefore
• Provide guidance as needed with their personal goals while promoting independence and community engagement.
• Support participation in small outings and community-based activities.
• Create and maintain a positive, person-centered approach to care.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.
• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work legally in the United States.
• Comfortable with community-based support and engaging in local outings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Person-centered mindset with a positive attitude and open-mindedness.
