Resources for Human Development (RHD) in Nazareth, PA is hiring Direct Support Professionals to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independent lives.

This full-time role offers $18.00 per hour, a DailyPay option, paid training, and a supportive team focused on dignity, respect, and community connection.

No experience is required; training is provided to help you grow a meaningful career in human services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proof of education must be provided.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to pass background screenings including FBI clearance.
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support per the individual's Person-Centered ISP.
• Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and outcomes.
• Support activities of daily living, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household tasks.
• Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community events as needed.
• Assist individuals in accessing community resources and supports.
• Administer or assist with medications as required.
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with program and clinical staff to ensure quality services.
• Promote healthy, safe, and socially appropriate behaviors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will:

• Provide supervision and support in accordance with each individual's Person-Centered Individual Support Plan (ISP)
• Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and desired outcomes
• Support activities of daily living, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household tasks
• Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community events as needed

• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
