Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will help clients reach goals, build skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences with compassionate support for daily living activities.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age with 1 year DSP experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; CPR/First Aid training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass background/drug screenings.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid training before first shift.
• Weekend availability is required.

As a DSP, you will play an important role in helping clients reach their goals, build new skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences while providing compassionate support with daily living activities.

Your Day Might Include:

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene

What You’ll Need:

• At least 18 years of age
• Minimum 1 year related DSP experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance

• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid training prior to your first shift
• Level 1 Med Aide Certification preferred
• Availability for at least one weekend per month
